Jeff Carton grew up in New Rochelle, and returned to Westchester after graduating from Dartmouth College and Columbia Law School. His children graduated from Harrison High School, and his wife is a pediatrician in the community. Jeff is an active member of the Westchester County Bar Association, including his longstanding service as a member of its Grievance Committee,and has been recognized repeatedly as one of the Top 25 Super Lawyers in the County, as well as honored by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers, The Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, America’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers, Elite Lawyers of America and the American Society of Legal Advocates’ Top 100 Litigators in New York.
Jeff has handled personal injury cases throughout Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, and Putnam Counties, in the Capitol Region (including Hudson, Albany, and Troy Counties), as well as throughout Connecticut.Among his many notable achievements, he recovered a $4.5 million jury award for a journeyman electrician injured on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), obtained in excess of $5 million for a worker injured in an industrial mishap, secured a $3.5 million settlement during jury selection for a handyman injured in an electrical explosion, and obtained $7 million for the decedents and burn injury victims of a workplace accident. Jeff has prosecuted personal injury cases throughout the Country, in both State and Federal courts.
